Saturday: Little Italy is the one to see at least once
The Saturday Little Italy Mercato stretches across several blocks of West Date Street and runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. year-round, rain or shine. It is the busiest market in this guide, so go early if you want an easier walk through the produce, bread and prepared-food stalls.
If Saturday mornings are already spoken for, the smaller Wednesday market runs from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. along West Date Street. It offers many of the same categories with more room to browse.

Sunday: Hillcrest for size, Leucadia for a slower pace
The Hillcrest Farmers Market runs every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with more than 175 vendors. One important update: it is currently on University Avenue between Herbert Street and Park Boulevard while work continues on the future Normal Street location.
The Leucadia Farmers Market also has a new address. It moved from Paul Ecke Central Elementary to Oak Crest Middle School at 675 Balour Drive in June 2026. Hours remain 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
